ACGTuate Opening Public Beta
We are opening up the public beta today, and basically coming out of stealth mode. It’s a very exciting time for all of us here at ACGTuate. We have a killer product, and are looking forward to serving the bioinformatics research community.
ACGTuate gives anyone the ability to construct bioinformatics pipelines on the web. For instance, you can construct a pipeline that does an Entrez search, and feed the results into BLAST. Everything is done in a cutting edge, web based, drag and drop user interface. ACGTuate leverages Microsoft Silverlight to do it’s magic. For those that haven’t heard about Silverlight yet, it’s a killer technology for creating content for the web, similar to Flash. It met our needs perfectly, and we we’re able to create a great user experience – one that is indistinguishable from a desktop application.
I think you’ll agree. You can try ACGTuate here.
